Die hier gezeigten Bilder sind mit Acryfarbe von einer Gelatineplatte gedruckt.

 

Die grundlegende Drucktechnik ist einfach.

Man malt mit einem Pinsel oder Spachtel auf die Platte, legt ein Blatt Papier über die Farbe, reibt die Rückseite des Papiers über die noch nasse Farbe und zieht es ab.

 

Anders als beim Monoprint von einer Glasplatte werden auch feinste Strukturen der Malerei im Abdruck sichtbar. Die Gelatineplatte überträgt die Farbe nahezu vollständig auf das Papier.

 

Die Originale haben eine Grösse von etwa 18 x 18 cm.

The images shown here are printed with acrylic paint from a gelatin plate.

 

The basic printing technique is simple. Paint is applied to the plate with a paintbrush or spatula. Put a sheet of paper over the paint, rub the back of the paper over the still wet paint and peel it off.

 

Unlike the monoprint from a glass plate, even the finest structures of the painting become visible in the print.

 

The paper transfers the paint from the printing plate almost completely.

 

The originals have a size of approximately  7 x 7 inches.
